MY FINAL animation!!!...

i wish i had more tim to extend my animation, but i am proud of it as it expresses my 3 words and has a slight humour to it!!!

RAYoGRams....

In the below rayogram  i painted on the developer

 to give the image a different look.

      

in the two rayograms below 

i used an old negative and moved 

it around to give a motion blur effect.

i found the i can animate mobile app!

i compiled a few of my animations together 

to create a longer animation.

here i used photoshop and added layers and blended them (blending options/ overlay) to give

 the effect that the designs were painted onto the garage. 

Then i added all the photos to istopmotion and created the animation.

  I then used imovie to refine.

Here are some characters i designed and developed 

for my animation.

I tried to give the fish human qualities

 so they can be easily animated 

the fish look better cute...

The statue of christ looks better with longer arms 

so they can be animated more fluently when he's dancing

The bikkini girl designs

i decided not to add fingers or toes to make the animation more

 simple as i will be drawing this character again and again. 

so i made her have little Stubbs 

FISH!!!.........

The Fish in this animation have been given human like qualities 

which make them more easily animated and much more expressive 

i couldnt find a non- edited version of this clip 

but this is a good example of an animated fish

FINDING NEMO

is probably the most well known animation featuring Fish

and the designs of the characters are amazing but also a little too complex for 

the short time i have to complete my animation. 

my characters must be much more simple but almost as effective.

 but i was just practising using imovie!

My SToRY BOarD

In this first frame the lady looks back and forth withe the beat. 

The sun dont look amused.

Then when the music kicks in she dances and jiggles while

 waving her arms around. The sun looks amused now.

a wave bashes the lady which allows her to travel, the fish carry her.

After going under the water she falls out of a large pipe with the fish.

Once on dry land the dance repeats but this time includes the fish.

the lady falls back onto the fish and they take her somewhere, 

( their little faces struggling and sweating)

the take her within viewing distance of the statue of christ, 

she points as if she wants to go there

some brazilian birds help her by carrying her with rope 

while she's on a surf board.

The ropes snap and she falls!

she lands next to the statue of christ.

the ladies animal friends come along but nothing seems to be happening 

and the musics gone dead....... 

Then! the statue dances the same dance as her and she becomes happy 

(music kicks in)

EVERYONE dances together!

Blu is an italian artist who has apparently decided to conceal his identity. He has been active in the street art scene since 1999.

This animation shows lots of unique movements through scenes. The environment is manipulated which gives the work a different look to a whiteboard animation or pen a paper animation.

in this project i have been given a piece of music which i will analyse and create an 20 to 30 second animation based on the thoughts and feelings i get from this track.

I listened to my piece of music for some time and jotted down in my sketchbook words and images that came to mind. Overall the track makes me feel happy, this is what i want to try to get across in my animation.

These words give me a lot of freedom in what i do with my animation.

 I will look further into these words and form ideas based on them. However i know that i want to celebrate brazil as my piece of musics sound and artists are Brazilian!

         

From the images i researched i got the idea of dance when i looked at their carnivals.  I also looked at images that related to my three words like playful carnivals and summery fruits.
